Despite unequal treatment from the outside world, Green McAdoo's faculty created a family atmosphere that is celebrated by alumni even today at a school, which touched the outskirts of Clinton, but that was never really part of the town, due to the spatial and cultural impact of Jim Crow segregation. The Green McAdoo community, including the teachers and parents provided a good educational experience for students despite equipment, salaries, and opportunities that were grossly inadequate in comparison with white public elementary schools. Located in the heart of the African American community, Green McAdoo exemplifies the 1930's concept of a neighborhood school. My goal is to bring justice to the Dow family and make sure Kesley Pope is put behind bars. The Green McAdoo School, located in Clinton, Tennessee and Anderson County, was deemed eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) under criterion A for its association with themes of African American heritage, education, and social history. The future is now, let’s make shit happen. this is something that isn’t okay and will never be okay. To endanger many children, parents, siblings, etc. But living and carrying that guilt how could one just act if all is right in the world? Sources say Kesley had every chance to do the right thing and she still chose to get behind the wheel. It’s crazy talk right? Not in Utah apparently murder is totally okay. Think about your child, killing someone and getting a slap on the wrist. What kind of example is this setting for the next generation. What kind of system does America have? People can get away with murder now plain as day? Yet drug addicts are treated as murders anymore. Kesley Pope is not being held incarcerated. Second I want to make sure justice is served and kids in this generation don’t think you will get a slap on the wrist, for killing not one but two people. First off, I’d like to send my deepest condolences to the Dow family. Her son however was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and passed away on November 1, 2021.
